It was gathered that the commissioner had been sick for some days before he passed away this morning.

  FIRS Chairman, Mohammad Nami Nigerians have reacted to the directive by the Federal government to account holders in financial institutions to submit self-certification forms. The Federal government ordered all account holders in financial institutions to submit self-certification forms to their respective institutions. The FG stated this on Thursday, September 17 via its twitter account, Government of Nigeria. ‘’@NigeriaGo’’ According to the tweet, ‘’This is to notify the general public that all account holders in Financial Institutions (Banks, Insurance Companies, etc) are required to obtain, complete and submit Self – Certification Forms to their respective Financial Institutions. ‘’Persons holding accounts in different financial institutions is required to complete & submit the form to each one of the institutions.
