Dr. Wahab Adegbenro, the Commissioner for Health in Ondo State, has died.

It was gathered that the commissioner had been sick for some days before he passed away this morning.

''Are we still unknown in this country?'' – Nigerians react to self-certification form order

  FIRS Chairman, Mohammad Nami Nigerians have reacted to the directive by the Federal government to account holders in financial institutions to submit self-certification forms. The Federal government ordered all account holders in financial institutions to submit self-certification forms to their respective institutions. The FG stated this on Thursday, September 17 via its twitter account, Government of Nigeria. ‘’@NigeriaGo’’ According to the tweet, ‘’This is to notify the general public that all account holders in Financial Institutions (Banks, Insurance Companies, etc) are required to obtain, complete and submit Self – Certification Forms to their respective Financial Institutions. ‘’Persons holding accounts in different financial institutions is required to complete & submit the form to each one of the institutions. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Ministerial Task Team on Covid -19 seals up the popular Jabi Lake Mall indefinitely for violating   Presidential Task Force’s directives on the ban on public gatherings as part of measures to contain the spread of the dreaded pandemic Corona Virus in the territory. This order issued by the FCT Task Force on COVID-19 came a day after popular musician Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley featured and entertained fun seekers around the area.   Magistrate Hidayat Akonni granted a two week seal up order of the mall. Naira Marley came under intense criticism for performing at the concert that recorded massive attendance on Saturday evening.
